Q: Who regulates Assisted Living Communities in Kentucky?
A: Kentucky 's Office of Aging Services conducts annual (or as often as needed) certification reviews to determine compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Q: Are there any legal papers that need to be signed?
A: Yes, in Kentucky and Assisted Living Community is required by law to provide you with a lease agreement for your thorough review, which then must be signed. The lease agreement addresses all provisions, policies, rights, responsibilities and protections for both you and the community.

A: Yes, Assisted Living Communities in Kentucky are required to provide or arrange transportation for their residents.

Q: What services are provided by an Assisted Living Community?
A. A private living unit with a private bath. You will also receive assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and transferring) as well as assistance with medications.
